Navigator is based on f150 completely different architecture.

Sorry, what I was thinking is that Ford CAN build a SUV that doesn't suck in exhaust gas.

Our 2015 MKX recently started smelling like natural gas (rotten eggs).  It is coming in through the air conditioner vents.  There should be some way to fix this.

There have been a lot of complaints on the internet regarding this problem in Ford and Lincoln vehicles.  But I am still looking for answers.

Had the same problem.  Consult TSB#17-0035.  My dealer did this a couple of months ago and the problem is solved.

The problem seems to go across all model years. I have a 2018 MKX with only 2,000 miles and have the same problem. Does anyone have a solution.

It's come up here in the past. Could be a leaking seal on the PTU or the vent flap is sticking open in the back. There are TSB's covering both. See this thread: http://lincolnmkxfor...-with-2016-mkx/

Don't sign up for anything from truedelta.   They have good intentions but flood your inbox wanting you to report each month on each vehicle.   Complete PITA.

Had the same issue. Sulfur smell occasionally after hard acceleration. Took my 2017 MKX in for service, told them about the TSB, and though the number here is wrong, there is a TSB for it. They were well aware of it and fixed it under warranty. Can find more detail about exact TSB and what they did if folks want. Hasn't been that long since I got car back, but so far so good.

We rented a 2018 Edge Titanium in Seattle week ago. Had the rotten egg smell on hard acceleration and going up steep hills. Car only had 4k on it and stink, stink, stink.

Yup! Phew. Rotten eggs and spoiled sausage stink. Any time I floored it. (Which was mostly all the time .... it was Seattle after all.)

Car was great overall.

Washington is a beautiful state, but I've literally sworn off visiting Seattle with its population density, traffic gridlock, $8/hour waterfront parking meters, high tourist taxation, aging infrastructure, downtown street detours...all the ailments of modern overgrown cities.

Sorry to digress.
