Check "owner.lincoln.com". If you set up an acct. there you have access to Owners manual, and a lot of instructional videos that help you learn all about your "new" Lincoln. I also just bought a 2013 MKX, and even though I do have an owners manual I've spent a lot of time watching the videos.

The only way I could see in the OM to find the code is "on the Owners Card", and your  Authorized Dealer. Fortunately for me, mine is a Certified Used Car and apparently part of the certification is resetting the code and it was in the Certification paperwork.

Good luck.

Are you referring to factory code as to open the door with the key pad on the door ? Not sure if this will work .. but my husband just got a Ford F150 without the code card .. and we read up on it and it said that you need both keys and you insert one key and turn ignition on for 10 secs .. then pull out and insert second key for 10 secs and then the code displays on the dash ..

On mine the code is located on a sticker inside the interior fuse panel.

Word is they stopped doing that on the newer models.

There is a great video on YouTube whereby the dealership shows you how to recover the key code using two keys and staring and stopping the car.  Upon using the 2nd key fob, the code will appear on you instrument screen.  Hope you can find it on YT, I was in the same fix not having the code when I bought mine also.
